The cowboy I married in Vegas…

So, it’s a funny story. I ran off to Vegas and married a cowboy. It’s a long story, so let me introduce you to him first.

Justin

This is the cowboy. His name is Justin, but I’ve always called him cowboy. He’s a bit grouchy about getting his picture taken.

Me and my cowboy

This is his summer look.

Justin with a beard!

This is his winter look — it keeps his face warm. I’m not saying anything, but once I woke up in the middle of the night, rolled over and screamed. He didn’t think it was funny.

Pipelining in the snow!

This is what he does when he isn’t home.  He’s a pipeline welder. It’s hard being apart for half the year, but he absolutely loves what he does. And I love him.

The Caddy Bed

This is what he does when he’s home. He builds custom welding beds for pipeline welders. Really fancy welding beds. Custom built for hardworking welders. You can go to his website for more pics and info. www.teaguewelding.com

And if he’s not in his shop, he’s on a horse. Remember, he’s a cowboy. He grew up on a large ranch and was riding a horse before he could even walk.

Fishing with Dad

Or he’s spending time with his girls.

Oh, and the most important thing of all– He loves me.

Precious. It’s great that though it might not be ideal to be without him for half of the year you have such a positive perspective. I love the last shot – beautiful photo.
